Digital Gifting and Incentives Platform
Wonder Technologies enables businesses to issue unique and highly targeted digital incentive, reward, and voucher programs that are engaging for consumers. The technology allows for a gift-to-card linking experience so consumers can have seamless in-store transactions. Businesses are then able to track their programs and gain deeper insight into customer data.
THE PROBLEM
Certain businesses experience low customer engagement due to a decrease in foot traffic during off-peak periods throughout the year. Mammoth Resorts needed a way to incentivize their customer visits during the slow summer and early season bookings. This has historically been a challenge for Mammoth in particular, even with an average of 1.3 million skier visits per year.
MY ROLE
I was primarily focused on the UX for both the consumer-facing products (iOS & Android native mobile apps, responsive web) as well as a proprietary B2B SaaS.
THE USERS & AUDIENCE
The target users are on both the business and consumer sides. The business side includes a Mammoth employee who would be responsible for handling campaigns, such as a marketing manager. They would be tech-savvy with a preference for the desktop experience. They would use Wonder's self-service platform to launch incentive campaigns to Mammoth's x-number of customers. The consumer-facing side includes the customer who would receive the incentive from the Mammoth brand via email as the initial touchpoint.
THE PROCESS & SOLUTION
I collaborated with the product manager and engineers during whiteboard sessions, sketched concepts on paper, and received user feedback from Mammoth. Within a few months of design and development we worked towards an MVP. We were able to create a robust, yet simple white label SaaS product that enabled Mammoth to increase in-store engagement during those off-peak periods.
THE RESULTS
Mammoth Mountain saw a 430% ROI with our solution using Wonder's platform to create, send, track and measure digital gifting incentives and rewards. Click here










WEBLINK
The "Weblink" is Wonder's core consumer-facing product which allows the user to link a digital gift received from a particular brand or peer to their personal credit card. The following photos capture some internal observations, both positive and negative, of the Weblink-v1 experience. After gathering additional user feedback my goal was to design against these observations and tailor Weblink-v2 to be a more usable and modernized mobile web experience. I also mapped the screens out on the whiteboard to help identify templated elements including required legalese from the card networks and certain terms and conditions.
